Microlink Education: Creating pathways of opportunity from the classroom to the boardroom

Since December 2021, Microlink’s impact on school-age provision has grown markedly!

We know that all children learn differently, and that recent advances in Assistive Technologies can transform the learning experience for neurodiverse children and young people, including those with delayed language development and English as an Additional Language.

Good two-way communication is fundamental to learning and access to the curriculum, and at Microlink we are committed to providing the tools, technology and support to help children from pre-school to Sixth Form to perform at their best, whatever their physical, sensory or neurodiverse needs.

To this end, Microlink led the design and delivery of a Department for Education-funded Assistive Technology professional development programme (in partnership with the special education needs organisation NASEN). It was an unqualified success!

Microlink Education also absorbed into its active portfolio responsibility for the accreditation of effective SEND practice in Youth Justice Partnerships across England and Wales. The links below acknowledge and celebrate some outstanding practice.

Finally, in partnership with Teaching Times, Microlink Education launched an innovative school improvement programme, Raising Attainment with Wellbeing, that puts wellbeing at the heart of learning, teaching and leadership. At a period in time of world challenge and anxieties, from war in Europe to the aftermath of the Covid pandemic, to a cost of living and energy security crisis compounded by the impact of climate change, we hope our programme creates a culture and climate that enables everyone in a school community to thrive.

Nearly 250 schools agree with us! The programme is growing rapidly. We are delighted!
