Job summary

Under the guidance of the Program Manager – Higher Education, set up appointments and find potential clients within Universities/Corporate Companies by promoting Microlink products and services e.g. Super Reading, Interact Streamer and Microlink’s WPA.

Undertake research and present findings and ideas in a comprehensive understandable manner. Prepare papers and background material for Program Manager – Higher Education. Prepare reports, weekly and monthly, to divulge appointments and contacts.  Ensure all information gathered for any customer is accurate and compliant.  Maintain a high level of communication with customers to improve professional working relationships. Recommend improvements to processes where necessary.  Assist with list building activities.  Provide detailed sales and business information to Program Manager – Higher Education so that it can be included in the sales cycle timeline.  Document, track and monitor all leads and activities in our CRM/Excel Spreadsheet.  Make outbound calls to convert prospects and leads into sales appointments.  Report on data and present back to the Program Manager – Higher Education.  Work closely with marketing & sales teams to drive awareness and traffic to our site and channels.  Successfully convert leads to appointments for the Program Manager – Higher Education.  Use social media to build relationships with new customers in conjunction with the Microlink Marketing Department.  Work closely with the rest of the marketing department to develop bespoke campaigns to relevant prospects.  This role will be remote based.

Essential Skills

Lead Generation.  Excellent telephone manner, comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and working to targets.

Good level of IT literacy is essential and ability to document the sales activity.  Ability to work under your own initiative as well as being a team player.  Have a professional phone manner, with a resilient and polite approach.  Be self-motivated and focused on continually achieving and exceeding targets.  Cold Calling.  Outstanding organisational, prioritising and time management skills.  Ability to analyse and research.
