XRAI Glass: Revolutionary New Glasses Allow Deaf People and People Who Have Hearing Loss to ‘See’ Conversation

Augmented reality glasses that provide captioning for people with hearing loss on the move. The wearable glasses ‘hear’ conversations around the user and translates audio to text which is displayed on the lenses of the glasses via compatible mobile device. -in Features include:

  1. Speech diarisation to identify individual speakers.
  2. Translation of nine of the world’s most used languages with more updates to be released in the future.
  3. User Interface customisation.
  4. Data retention options.

The XRAI Glass software converts audio into a subtitled version of conversation which will then appear on the user’s glasses screen. XRAI doesn’t just transcribe in real time; it also saves a searchable transcript of each conversation.

In addition to multi-lingual transcription and translation it also supports choosing different languages for the interface and user experience.

Medical Support

XRAI glass supports for medical-specific captioning engines. The transcription now supports the following medical specializations:

Primary Care, Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology, Radiology and Urology. Simply select the relevant Subtitle Engine from settings. The regular engine is now called AWS General Purpose Transcribe.

Compatible hardware accessories to improve your experience

  • Razor Sieren BT: Improve speech capture and reduce background noise with this Bluetooth microphone, capable of capturing conversations up to 10m away.
  • Prescription Lenses: We’ve partnered with Lensology, who provide custom prescription lens inserts designed for the Nreal Air augmented reality glasses
  • Emeet Luna: Filter out the noise, even in a crowded room. This 360º conference speaker has a multi-microphone array, capturing conversations for 12 or more people.
