The Civil Service Award 2013 highlighted once again the fantastic work of the individuals and teams that help support our country, and Microlink was proud to sponsor the Diversity and Equality Award for the third year running.
This year’s winner was the Home Office’s Border Force People Directorate Adrian Treharne. Adrian is registered blind and has risen through the ranks to G7 level. As a member of the Disability Support Network committee, he is an inspirational champion, working tirelessly to support disabled staff and their managers.
His pro-active and continuous work including his recent initiate ‘No Barriers’, aimed to increase engagement around disability issues and was recognised by the Home Office’s permanent secretary as a top diversity achievement.
