Microlink is delighted to have one of our apprentices presented with the Tyro Training apprentice of the month award. Geraldine Pink was selected out of 3,500 apprentices across the country, to receive this prestigious award.

“This is my first job and I had some expectations, but when I came here it was nothing like I had imagined. Right now I’m looking forward to completing my NVQ and getting more confident in my telephone work.” – Geraldine Pink, Data processor

Geraldine began her apprenticeship at Microlink 4 months ago, with few skills and qualifications, and no previous work experience. However, Geraldine has displayed an eagerness to learn, combined with a positive work ethic. This rallied support with her line manager, Alex Pacey, to give Geraldine the opportunity to also gain valuable qualifications, alongside developing her growing skillset at Microlink.

“The award Geraldine has received is well deserved due to her hard work and efforts. She is known as someone who is always willing to go that extra mile. I have very much enjoyed being her mentor and look forward to what the future holds for her” – Alex Pacey, Line manager

Geraldine has set herself apart from others, with her willingness to work hard and achieve more for her future. Her rapid development is in inspiration to others and we are proud to have Geraldine as part of our team, and delighted that we can support her in achieving her goals.

“The transformation in Geraldine since joining Microlink has been incredible. She has become very confident and capable member of our company and excelled in her work, thanks to the support of her team. She is a real credit to the company and we are proud of her achievements.” – Nasser Siabi, CEO
